Corruption - Poem

Last night I was blinded, & my path had turned to stone.
I had no one to turn to & my mind felt so alone.
Last night I was blinded & I don't know where I went.
All I know is I was taken to a place where things were bent.

Some speak of corruption, in society’s today,
but I speak of corruption, in the hearts that have no faith.
When corrupted you can really drift, a million miles away,
& sometimes you don't have the strength, to make it back again.

I tell you this for your own good, sometimes it's in your neighbourhood, so back away right from your door, & say your busy, on the floor, then run away when they can't see. Them ghouls just want to plant their seeds.

I can hear them knocking now, the sweat is coming off my brow.
They’re clawing at my concrete floor, they’re trying to get me down.

Well I won’t let that happen, cuz my heart is full of faith,
& I hope it will stay like that, until the end of days.

Don't go astray & don't be blind. Just run away & stay confined. Find your pure & peaceful place, in the garden of safe haven.
